To produce and disseminate a report on reprocessing of spent nuclear fuel.

To support the nuclear arms control research, policy analysis, public education and media activities of the Arms Control and International Security Program.

To conduct technical and policy analyses and media outreach on balllistic missile defense.

To stop the spread of nuclear weapons materials and to promote direct disposal of plutonium from nuclear weapons rather than reprocessing.

To support the program on nuclear nonproliferation and Russia through publication of the monthly journal, Yaderny Kontrol.

To work toward an international ban on the production, trade, use, and stockpiling of landmines through the International Campaign to Ban Landmines.

To monitor test ban and fissile ban negotiations and post-NPT developments at arms control discussions in Geneva.

To support grassroots efforts to promote environmental cleanup and prevent nuclear weapons testing in Nevada.

To expose secret nuclear weapons programs.

To encourage and coordinate citizen activism at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory, including attempts to clean up the site and further opposition to reprocessing and disposal of nuclear waste in Idaho.
