To facilitate communication, develop national strategies and provide skills training for member groups, which work to press the US Department of Energy to follow through on commitments to protect human and environmental health by managing and cleaning up the legacy of radioactive and hazardous waste that has accumulated from 50 years of nuclear weapons production.
